ASSIGNMENT 11 - Tuesday, March 17

Don't forget to wear green on Tuesday! Happy early St. Patty's Day by the way.

Tuesday Assignment:
Bring in a printed copy of your letterhead, enveloped and standard business card composed for ONE of your 10 businesses that you just designed these logos for. Pick the most graphically interesting logo to design the package for. Remember that there are more than just one side to a letterhead / enveloped and also the business card. Use the back / think about interesting layouts and hooks that might somehow tie into the business that you are promoting. Your logos should be in the final stages. If you want to run those by me in class on Tuesday feel free. Thursday will be the final critique for everything. I'll go over presentation requirements in class on Tuesday.

ASSIGNMENT 7 - Tues. March 3rd

Mini Critique on Tuesday. This will be over five initial logos. Please have these ready to go on the computer in most final form possible. We'll just be traveling from computer to computer (again mini critique not a full critique)- so no need to dress up or summary, but be ready to discuss decisions made for logo and logo type to reflect back on business as a whole.

So recap: first five logos / must have logotype (font of business name) and symbol (logo) to encapsulate the overall feel and need for the business.

Second five logos / need to be in the works. These will have only a logo and or logotype separate (so just one of the other) if logo isn't enough...just do the type. These need to be the works...do sketchbook page for development on each. Thursday I will be checking sketchbook pages for progress so be prepared.
