Spring Break - It's finally here!!

For Tuesday, you must have your poster up in the hallway in between the library and the first door in the PAC. IT MUST BE IN YOUR CLIP FRAME AND PORTRAIT STYLE. There will be nails out there for you to hang your work on. You must have your guerrilla located on campus and your standup must be in the main hallway of PAC.

We will critique on Wednesday. We will meet in the PAC hallway instead of meeting in the classroom.
Invite your director the critique. Be interested to hear his / her comments on the work to see how you matched to their vision. Additional bonus credit will be given if you director comes toward your critique portion of the grade. We will start at 8 am sharp. Make sure you are there and ready to go. You don't need to dress for this critique since we will be tromping around campus.

Make sure to get good photos of your guerrillas in the environment as well as your stand ups (can't tell you how many students I have over the years that regretted rushing this and not getting good images of this work).

LEFT SIDE (starting from the bottom and working up)
1. Research (2 pages - can be on your topic of the film)
2. Visual Brief (1 page)
3. Design Brief (1 page)

RIGHT SIDE
1. Thumbnails (25 of each / poster / guerrilla / standup - must be numbered and labeled)
2. Roughs (2 of each / poster / guerrilla / standup (guerrilla and stand up roughs must be of a photograph of the space and then your idea placed in the environment) Please label these.
3. Finals / Must have a good photo (not blurry and full 8.5x11 page) of guerrilla in environment and stand up. Must have print of final poster to size.

All thumbnails are due on Wednesday. Please be working through ideas and give yourself the day to work on roughs. Will have roughs due on Friday. Please have your stationary packages turned in no later than 5 pm on TUESDAY now. Will hopefully have ink in by then.

CHANGE IN THE SCHEDULE

Hi guys,

Since some of you have been having problems getting connected with directors with the change up we are pushing back the thumbnail deadline to Wednesday but be prepared to hit the ground running with a heavy work day on Wednesday. If you have thumbnails for you movie move ahead and we will check things out on Wednesday. As far as the resubmit for the business cards, please have them in by 5 pm in their frames so I can grade them. Because of pushing these back this assignment will be not be included in your midterm grades. Hope this helps. Pass the word along.

Please apply textures to the minimal posters that you did in class and have them ready to print out for when we have ink again. I'm hoping to have it in by next week at the latest. Monday


Hi guys,

Directions to Green Frog...See you all there at 8 am. Bring clothes you can get dirty or aprons and a quote or two to set in type. A thank you will be circulating tonight at movie for our hosts at Green Frog John and Nancy as well as Larry and Mary our speakers. Please sign it when it comes your way. We will be presenting the couple with these at lunch. Since most people signed up for the morning and not the afternoon...we are switching it being all day. If you want to stay and keep printing the afternoon you are more than welcome if not you can leave after lunch. Make sure you get me the $10 for your lunch / workshop fee when you get a chance. Also for Monday...please bring your resume and cover letter printed out. This is all you need. If you haven't worked out the kinks of your roughs on the business stationary package please do another round. Will be looking these over individually on Monday. No critique dress for the resume and cover letter. You will just turn these in for a grade and you will get feed back in written form. More formal critique will be Wednesday. Will talk about job folders and other details for that on Monday.
